You will have access to all of the PowerPoint handouts, policies, syllabus, etc that you will need for class/shop. It will be your responsibility to print out your notes before class. I will no longer be handing out notes.
Right now this applies only to the sophomores and juniors. As Mrs Boretti gets comfortable, she may follow.

Summer Letter
Welcome to summer! I realize that you have school just ended 2 weeks ago but I wanted to get this letter to you early. I have some exciting news! I have started a blog for the Health Careers Students. I will attempt to have pictures, test dates, homework news and anything else that may be of interest to you. I am also going to be working on using Google docs, and calendar to help make your notes and other documents available to you via the internet. The link is http://collinscafe.blogspot.com.
This letter is also a reminder for those who did not have a school physical that physicals must be done by your private physician. Your physical must be within the last calendar year. Mantoux tests will be given here at school in September.
Watch Wearguard, Wal mart, and Work n Gear for sales, this is a good time to replace those worn and tattered uniforms and shoes as well. The color is maroon/port.
Please review the uniform policies, as there have been some changes.
Just a reminder to the juniors that the CNA test is this year. The cost is $96. Start saving and also start thinking of more fundraisers.
Sophomores and seniors will be in shop for the first cycle. You will be required to wear your uniform of the FIRST DAY of school! Please be prepared for class, pens. Pencils, three ring binders…
Please have the transportation permission, Mantoux permission and confidentiality slip signed and returned on the first day of school
If you or your parents have any questions, I will be at school the week before school opens or I can be contacted via e-mail at dcollins@ssvotech.org. You can also leave a message on my voice mail at school 1-781-878-3968 ext. 142, however I will only be checking this beginning the week before school opens
